Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

Thank you for sharing your children with us at Jonathan Valley.  We have had a wonderful school year.  We hope you all have a fun, safe, and happy Summer.

This message has information about Monday, June 6, Summer office hours, joining the band at WMS, EOG score reports, and the 22-23 school year.  

Monday, June 6, is an Annual Leave Day for HCS.  This means our school office will not be open.  We will be open Monday – Thursday at 8:00 throughout the Summer.  There will also be days throughout the Summer when our school office will be closed.  We will have a sign on the front door during those times.  

An Individual Student Report (ISR) of your student’s EOG/EOC score(s) is now available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. A printed copy is no longer available from the district.  To view electronic copies of the ISR in PowerSchool, log into PowerSchool through a web browser (https://haywood.powerschool.com/public/home.html). Once on the website, click on State Test Reports in the left-hand menu bar. The ISR is not viewable on the PowerSchool app. If you do not have an account, visit the Resources>Parents/Community page on the Haywood County Schools website (haywood.k12.nc.us).  If you do not have Internet access please let us know, and we will be happy to print a copy for you.

Information for the 22-23 school year such as teacher assignments, supply lists, meet the teacher, open house, and other important things will  begin being communicated in mid-July for students returning to Jonathan Valley.  We will be sending out phone calls throughout the Summer to update you too.  You may visit the Haywood County Schools website to view the 22-23 school  year calendar.
