The Paw-nomenal Panther Award winner for January/February is Mrs. Alison Bumgarner. She is our speech language pathologist at JVES. A colleague of Mrs. Bumgarner said, “Alison deserves this award because she is an overall amazing person! She has exemplary character and is easy to relate to and talk to.” The students in Mrs. Bumgarner’s room are always laughing, chatting, and seeming to enjoy their time in her therapy sessions. She has an enormous caseload of students, but you will not hear her complain about that because she loves the students with whom she works and wants what is best for each of them. It was said that Mrs. Bumgarner makes a difference in people’s lives with every conversation she has. What a great compliment that is…and so well deserved. CONGRATULATIONS MRS. BUMGARNER!
