JVES Battle of the Books Team Takes Third Place

Eight elementary schools in Haywood County squared off on March 23, 2017 in the annual Battle of the Books. We are SO proud of our Jonathan Valley team for taking 3rd place in this year’s competition. The students have been reading, discussing, studying, and answering questions about the 18 books on the list all school year. They have spent many hours after school together practicing and even more hours at home reading all those books. Thank you team members for your hard work and thank you to Mrs. Abbe and Ms. Hembree for being their amazing coaches.
