Student Authors’ Celebration

On Thursday evening, May 4, we invited students and parents to an event celebrating our student authors. ALL of our students are authors and they write every day. The teachers and students in grades K-4 put their heads together and chose each student’s best pieces of writing for them to share with their parents. The 5th grade students read their DARE essays to their parents. This was a great evening accented with cookies, tea, and lemonade. We gave away books and writing journals as door prizes. We would like to thank all who made the effort to come out and celebrate our student authors.
