1st Grade Students Celebrate Book-o-ween

On Friday, November 3, the first grade students at Jonathan Valley were visited by book characters who read their own stories to the students. Pete the Cat, The Pigeon Who Needed a Bath, Fancy Nancy, Chester the Raccoon from “The Kissing Hand”, the Old Teacher from “I Know an Old Teacher”, the Fisherman from “The Magic Fish”, and the Cat in the Hat were all present and read their stories. Many of the students dressed up as their favorite book characters as well. This event was very fun for everyone involved!
