1st graders Have a “Hands-On” Social Studies Lesson

In first grade, students learn about different examples of goods and services in the home, school and community. Last Thursday, October 18, our first grade students got to experience a part of that when one of our parents brought a tractor trailer truck to school. Each student got a chance to get behind the wheel of the big semi truck and learn the importance of truck drivers and why they are needed in our community.
