Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley  Families,

This message contains information regarding the impact the potential inclement weather forecast for Friday could have on the already scheduled Remote Learning Day.

Friday is already scheduled as a Remote Learning Day for students and an on-campus

Workday for teachers and other staff members. If weather significantly impacts travel this Remote Learning Day could be changed to a Remote Learning Optional Workday for teachers and other staff members. What this means is your student will still have assignments for Friday, however there will be no live Google Meets or live instruction scheduled.  If Friday is changed to a Remote Learning Optional Workday the day will count towards the required number of instructional hours for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please make sure your child completes all assignments, so they will be counted present.  If there is no change to the schedule for Friday, and it remains a Remote Learning Day students will have live Google Meets or live instruction.  Check your favorite news outlet for weather updates.  I’ll also send out an update through Remind if / when I receive any weather related information.
