Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message contains information about EOG assessments, Memorial Day, 5th grade recognition, June 2nd Fun Day,  the last day of school, and Summer Learning Choice.  

This week 5th grade in person students will take the Science EOG on Wednesday, May 19th. The Reading EOG for grades 3-5 will be Tuesday, May 25th, and the Math EOG for grades 3-5 will be Wednesday, May 26th. Assessment schedules for students in remote and  special settings will be a little different.  Please take a look at the end of year assessment calendar which was recently sent home with your child, through Remind, email, and posted on our JVE website.  Please make sure your child gets a good night of sleep, eats breakfast at home or school, and is on time for school.  If students are late on assessment days they will have to take their EOG on a make up day.

HCS will recognize Memorial Day on May 31st.  School will be closed on this day.  

Fifth recognition will be June 4th at 8:30.  Families of fifth grade students are invited to join us in the gym to celebrate our fifth graders.  

All students will enjoy a day of fun with Coach Owings and our Specials teachers on June 2nd.  Kona Ice will also be paying JVE a visit and all of our students will get to enjoy a cold, shaved ice, treat. 

The last day of school will be June 4th.  

Summer Learning Choice information will be sent home with students that were invited and signed up as soon as schedules are finalized.
