Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message contains information about the Reading for Education fundraiser, PTO Meeting, and Fall Festival.

Thank you to  all the families who have already participated in our Reading For Education fundraiser!  If your family has not participated, there’s still time!  If you need another fundraiser packet just let us know.

There is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products.  Your child will receive a prize just for participating, and more prizes will be awarded when goals are reached.  You may also choose to purchase a gift card that will go directly to your child’s teacher to purchase books for their classroom.  Just click the link below to participate.

We will have a PTO meeting at JVE in the cafeteria at 5:30 on September 27th.  A  blue letter went home with students today.  We invite anyone interested in joining PTO or serving as an officer to join us.  Our current officers will not be with us next year, as their children will move on to middle school.  We want to keep our JVE PTO going strong, so please come if you can.  

We have received approval to have the Fall Festival this year.  It will be Tuesday, October 12th, from 5:30-7:30.  It will be a little different though, because we have only been approved to have it outside, but we are excited to continue this tradition even if it will look different than in past years.  An orange letter about the Fall Festival and donations was sent home with your student on Friday.
