Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message contains information about the Reading for Education fundraiser, PTO meeting, Fall Festival, and Fall picture day. 

Our Reading for Education fundraiser has been such a huge success that we have run out of the Huggers prizes.  Don’t worry, more are on the way.  We have a list of students on a waiting list for Huggers, and we will get them to students as soon as they are delivered at Jonathan Valley.  

There will be a PTO interest meeting Monday, September 27th, in the cafeteria at 5:30.  If you are interested in being part of the JVE PTO please plan to join us.  We will be in need of new officers for next year as our current President’s children have moved on to middle and high school, and our other officers have students in 5th grade this year that will be moving on to middle school.  

We have received approval to have the Fall Festival this year.  It will be Tuesday, October 12th, from 5:30-7:30.  It will be a little different though, because we have only been approved to have it outside, but we are excited to continue this tradition even if it will look different than in past years.  An orange letter about the Fall Festival and donations was sent home with your student on Friday.  

Fall picture day will be October 21st.  More information will be coming home soon.
