Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message has information about Virtual Math Night,  progress reports, a new reading resource for students in NC,  make-up pictures, and Thanksgiving Break.

Virtual Math Night for our school will be Tuesday, November 16 at 6:00 pm.  This event will be all virtual with lots of fun for the entire family.  Students who signed up will receive a supply bag on Monday, November 15,  with everything needed  to join in on the fun  virtually from home. For those families who signed up but are not able to attend during the scheduled time, you will still have access for 14 days afterwards.  This will allow families access over Thanksgiving break.  After the 14 days are complete, we will put the names of attendees in a surprise drawing.  You don’t want to miss this.  If you did not get to sign up for this event,  you will have the opportunity to sign up for another cool event sponsored by Title One in the spring.

Progress reports will be sent home during the week of November 17-23.  Classroom teachers will send a Remind message to let you know what day your student’s class will be sending them home.  

We are excited to share with you a new, at home, digital,  reading resource for students in North Carolina.  There is also a Youtube video link that explains this great resource.  An information flyer was also sent home with all students.  This link and flyer have also been sent through Remind, email, and aew on our JVE website.   

Tuesday, November 23rd,  will be the date for Fall makeup pictures.  

November 24,25,and 26 Haywood County Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving Break.
