Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families:

This message has information about lost and found, updated HCS calendar changes

It is hard to believe that we are halfway through the 21-22 school year.  During the first half of the year we have collected many items in our lost and found bin.  We will move all lost and found to the front lobby this week for students and parents to look through.  After this Friday all lost and found will be donated.  

So far this school year, we have missed 9 days. This was due to flooding associated with Tropical Storm Fred, winter weather and one day when we could not staff schools due to employee absences. We have also had a few days impacted by an early dismissal or delay.  HCS has released an updated calendar. Please note that February 25th and March 30th are now regular in-person learning days. Currently, the last student day is Friday, June 3, 2022. Using RLOWs will not extend this date. However, using a Closed Day (No Day) would extend the calendar. HCS will work to avoid extending the calendar as weather and unforeseen events allow.
