Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message has information about 27 week assessments, Bus #45, and masks on buses.

Our students will take their Haywood County 27 Week Benchmark Assessments during the weeks of March 7th-11th and March 14th-18th, 2022. (Please see the assessment calendar sent home with your child, shared through your email connected to this phone call account,  shared through Remind, and posted on our JVE website.  Benchmark assessments help teachers focus on areas of strength and need for individual students. Teachers use the data from these assessments to plan their instruction for the remainder of the school year.   Please encourage your child to do his/her best!

Please help your child be successful by having him/her present at school by 8:00 am., eat a good breakfast at home or at school, and get a good night’s rest.  Assessments will be in the mornings.  Please reschedule any appointments to avoid check-outs during assessments.  If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or Rachel Jones at 926-3207.           

Bus #45 will have a new driver today.  Mrs. Sophia will be replacing Mrs. Nikki.  Please help welcome Mrs. Sophia back to JVE. 

Effective Monday, February 28th, masks are no longer required to be worn on school buses.
