Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message has information about the April 1st early dismissal, yearbook sales,   the upcoming Panther Party on April 7th, early dismissal on April 8th, Spring Break, and Kindergarten registration.

Friday, April 1st, will be a 12:30 dismissal to allow elementary teachers time to work on the mandatory LETRS / Science of Reading training that is scheduled for the rest of this year and the 2022-2023 school year.  

Yearbooks will be on sale Monday, March 28 through April 8! Your child will bring home a form for this. The price is $15.00. Please note that there is not an online option for payment. Thank you for your support!

We are excited to have a Panther Party after school on April 7th from 3:15-5:00.  A permission slip with more information was sent home with students last week.  Please be sure to send the permission slip back with your child to their homeroom teacher by April 5th.  

Friday, April 8th, will be an early dismissal for Haywood County Schools.  April 11-15 Haywood County Schools will be closed for Spring Break.  

Please join us for Kindergarten registration at Jonathan Valley Elementary on Monday, May 2nd, from 8:30-9:30 or May 3rd from 5:00-6:00.  We will meet in the cafeteria.  Please be sure to bring an original or certified birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency, and a current copy of your NC driver’s license.
