Good Afternoon Panthers,

This message has information about the Scholastic Book Fair, Bookoween, and classroom visits.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Jonathan Valley this week.  On October 26th, all students are encouraged to choose a book character to dress up as for Bookoween.  Costumes must be based on a book character and should not be scary.  Simple, homemade, costumes are welcome.  Students can bring a copy of the book that matches their character if possible, and should be prepared for an assignment about the character they have chosen to dress up as.

Families are also invited to visit their child’s classroom on October 26th.  Classroom teachers will be sharing information about reading at home and at school, and how we can work together to best support our students.
