Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message has information about “Love the Bus” week, the upcoming NC Check-ins / NC Check-ins 2.0, and the Remote Learning Day on February 24th.

This upcoming week is “Love the Bus” week. We are so thankful and appreciative for the wonderful bus drivers we have at JVE. If your student rides the bus be sure to let your bus driver know how much they are appreciated. We always need bus substitute drivers. If you’re interested please give us a call.

Third through fifth grade students will be participating in the NC Check-ins / NC Check-ins 2.0 soon. The main purpose of these assessments is to provide teachers with immediate, in depth data, of students’ current knowledge and performance on selected standards. The EOG shares a common question bank with the NC Check-ins / NC check-ins 2.0 which exposes students to similar questions types and rigor similar to the EOGs. Please see the letter that was sent home, through Remind, and email with a detailed schedule.

February 24th is still scheduled as a Remote Learning Optional Workday.
