International Dot Day Fun!

Monday, September 15 is International Dot Day! This is a celebration of a picture book called The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds with the themes of courage and creativity. To celebrate, JVE will have a “Wear Your Polka Dots” dress-up day on Monday, September 15 sponsored by the JVE library! In addition, first and second grade students will hear and discuss the story during library classes, and students will be doing art projects based on the story in art class during the weeks leading up to Dot Day! Join us in showing off your dots!
