Congratulations JVES Teacher and Teacher Assistant of the Year

All the Haywood County Schools Teachers of the Year for 2015-2016 were recognized and celebrated at a luncheon this past week. The Teacher of the Year for JVES is Lisa Cleaveland. Mrs. Cleaveland is one of our kindergarten teachers and is a leader inside and outside of our school building. She has helped shape many young lives over her past 25+ years as an educator.

Although the Teacher Assistant of the Year was not recognized at the county banquet, we would like to let everyone know that our TA of the Year is Cicily Leatherwood. Mrs. Cicily has been a kindergarten and 1st grade assistant here at JVES for a few years now. She is kind, compassionate, and helpful; we all love her.

If you see one of these ladies…tell them congratulations!!!
