September 17-23 was Constitution Week. In conjunction with that we decided to have a contest that was open to all students in grades 3-5. The contest asked the students to discuss the importance of our having a Constitution as well as choosing at least three of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights and discussing their meanings and importance. Some students chose to make posters, some did written answers, and others created digital presentations.
Our winners were: 1st place Taylor Medina in 5th grade, 2nd place Emma Hill in 3rd grade, 3rd place Travis Malpeli in 5th grade.
Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all the students who participated!
