Vocabulary Parade an Enormous Success

On Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13, our students came to school dressed as a vocabulary word. Each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade student walked to the microphone and told everyone his or her name and what vocabulary word they were representing. The Kindergarten, 1st , and 2nd grade students’ vocabulary words were voiced by Ms. Hembree as each of them walked slowly across the stage. A winner was chosen from each class and those students received a free book as a prize, but all who participated truly were winners. A special “thank you” to Ms. Hembree and Mrs. Carreno for their time spent planning, preparing, and getting this event together.
