JVES Upcoming Events

May 1-5 is Staff Appreciation Week. Our folks work really hard, so please let them know how much they are appreciated.

Yearbooks will go on sale Monday, May 1 and we will sell them until they are gone. The cost is $20, cash or check.

Our Writing and Student Authors Celebration will be on Thursday, May 4 at 6:00 pm.

The new playground is being built on Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6. We have several volunteers signed up already, but if you’d like to volunteer please call the school and let us know.

We are in the process of electing next year’s School Improvement Team. Parents are a vital part of this team. If you’d like to be a member or would like to know more about this, please contact Mrs. Hollingsworth by email or phone.

The “Donation of the Month” item for May is pencils. We prefer Papermate or Ticonderoga brand pencils, but will accept any brand.
