5th Graders Make JVES History Today

After many years of faculty versus 5th grade games of several varieties (football, volleyball, basketball, and kickball), the 5th grade All Stars FINALLY beat the teachers. On this beautiful late October day, the 5th graders scored 4 touchdowns and the teachers only scored 2 touchdowns. The rest of the students were at the field cheering for their favorite team…some were yelling “Go Teachers!” and others were shouting “Go 5th grade!” When the dust settled a good time was had by all and nobody got hurt…although I’m pretty sure there will be an increase in the sales of Icy Hot in Waynesville this evening for us old timers. Great job 5th grade All Stars and everyone that participated in this fun event today!
