Battle of the Books Summer Challenge

Battle of the Books Summer Challenge and Reward!

Read and pass a quiz on at least three books from the Battle of the Books list for 2018-2019 and get an invitation to popcorn and a movie after school at the end of August!! Books are available at the JVE library on a first come first serve basis, and the library is open for Summer Library every Wednesday from 12:00 noon-6:00 pm from now until August 1.

Who: Challenge is open to any rising fourth or fifth grade student at JVE

What: Read at least three books and take a short quiz on each one. Make a passing score of 70% or better on each one, and you will receive an invitation to watch the new movie A Wrinkle in Time after school one day toward the end of August! You may choose to read any three of the fifteen books on the list. Book lists are available at the JVE library.

When: Students will have until the end of August to complete this challenge. Students can take quizzes during Summer Library on Wednesdays or during library times during the month of August.

Where: Books are available and movie will be shown at the JVE library.

Why: This will get us started on reading the books for Battle of the Books! Students do not have to participate in Battle of the Books Club to be a part of the challenge.
