Good Afternoon Jonathan Valley Families,

This message has information about our new Spirit Rock sponsored by the PTA, an upcoming PTA interest / volunteer meeting, Fall Festival donations, and Fall Festival wristbands.

Our new Spirit Rock has been installed, and will soon be ready for families to reserve it to paint for special occasions.  A note will be sent home with students soon explaining the sign up and painting process.  Funds from painting the rock will go directly to our PTA to benefit Jonathan Valley Elementary.

The PTA will have a meeting September 21st immediately after the car line ends around 3:30.  The meeting will be in the cafeteria.  Please join the PTA for this meeting if you are interested in helping at the Fall Festival, and with other PTA events throughout the year.

Fall Festival is coming up soon, October 6th, from 5:30-7:30.  The PTA is very excited to be able to have this event for our students and their families.  The festival is the largest school fundraiser that the PTA has for JVE.  Donations such as packages of individually wrapped candy, store bought cakes, two liter drinks, and silent auction donations, will be accepted September 20-October 6.  Donations may be dropped off in the main lobby or sent to school with your student.  Our festival is only successful with the help of our parents and community.  A note will also be sent home with your child this week.

The PTA will be pre-selling Fall Festival wristbands September 30-October 6 for $25.  A note will also be sent home with your child this week.
